In view of UAE’s sustainable clean energy solution and Dubai’s initiative to transform the Emirates to carbon neutral, under the great vision of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, The Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the management of Mitsubishi Motors Middle east & Africa Jebel Ali FZ has decided to ‘ Go Green’.
The central warehouse located in Jebel Ali Facility is in the process of installing wind driven Turbo Roof Ventilators to extract hot and humid air. These Turbo Roof Ventilators work without Electricity for 24 hours of the day though out the year. Along with RV, 90% daytimes are being utilizing lillybright Tubular skylight which works on pure sunlight thereby reducing carbon emission to net zero level. The supply and Installation contract has been awarded to Dubai based Insulation & Climatisation experts- ‘ LIJAN GROUP” along with Tower contracting under design by Design House consultancy.
Dubai has integrated the Energy strategy for 2030 which aims to reduce energy demand by 30% and 75% clean energy contribution in fuel mix by 2050. Researches shows, Day lighting improves productivity to 15% and ventilation by 11%
